I can't wait to participate in next week's '𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲' conference, both as a panellist on Tuesday and as a speaker on Wednesday! The conference will cover all aspects of water as a resource.

This is a must read for everyone. There are measurable costs to being a woman in academia.

TRAQUA recently conducted tracer tests to improve understanding of residence times and other hydrogeological parameters for the 𝗣𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁. PFASTER is a European LIFE-funded project, coordinated by Jan De Nul Group, which will test 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗙𝗔𝗦 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

This week, we started another tracer test campaign for an Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage (ATES) project in the crystalline rock of Brussels. Fluorescent tracer testing can be used to calibrate and refine hydrothermal models for ATES systems in fractured aquifers.
