30+ queer Texan.

There is a player on the LA Queens, Brittany Apgar, who has a limb difference and traveled back to Illinois from receiving her first ever batting prosthetic *today* and is 3-for-3 in her first game playing with one. Incredibly cool.

Big news out of #WPBL postgame tonight: Queens manager Eric Young Jr. told me his starting pitcher Friday night will be Ayami Sato. So the matchup between Sato and the firepower of Kelsie Whitmore's San Francisco Firebells is almost here.

some scoring practice with tonight's game. it's messy as hell coz i was working with small pages and no template. also made a bunch of errors esp coz i kept notating first base as 1 instead of 3 😩 scoring was really helpful tho, esp when the onscreen scoreboard straight up disappeared LOL

accidentally ended up rewatching major 2nd and god i love this series so much 😭 there's so much wonderful slowburn character development and subversion of genre expectations. ESPECIALLY SAKURA MY GIRL!!!!!!! 😭😭😭

The WPBL played its first-ever game last night, and there were several players who stood out for the Los Angeles Queens and New York Heights. @mingemi.bsky.social highlights some who could be players to watch for the season. www.theixsports.com/features/mag...

Following the WPBL's opening day game between the Los Angeles Queens and New York Heights, here are some players to watch.

Queens and Heights played really fun ball last night but damn did the WPBL broadcast leave a lot to be desired..... i know they don't exactly have major league resources but can we at least keep track of who's winning...........

AI animal videos miss the point of animal videos completely. A video of an animal doing something is wonderful because it's an actual animal doing it. But an AI animal video is just a bunch of fucking pixels in an animal costume.

according to bricks and minifigs, there's one gender of customer who only cares about money and another gender of customer that has emotions. by the way this knowledge of gender is a super confidential trade secret.

Three types of teens who will be parting with their LEGO®s:

Kid-with-Dad – Generally, they are all about the money. They want to sell them and dad will help negotiate.

Kid-with-Mom – Moms are usually more sentimental and that connection is strong. Watch for sentimental parents who are with them, as they will sometimes make the buying process a little tougher as they struggle to see a part of their children's childhood go away. Moms may want to stash them away for grandkids. Get Mom to see into the future how LEGO®s in 10 years will be even better and cooler, and that's what the (future) grandkid will want.

If there is a large sentimental roadblock, one suggestion is to ask the parent (usually the mother or grandmother) if there is something in the collection they remember giving them for their birthday, etc. If so, pick the piece out and give it back to her.

in my head i know linen dries quickly, but watching these pants air dry in the van in like an hour and a half, with the doors and windows shut, has me like pikachu face

something i'm learning about myself this year is that if i am disliking a book so much that i start looking up the writer, it's time to DNF that shit
