Anyway Maximus was my favorite character and storyline in S1, I'm very nervous given how much more fan attention has gone towards ✨️The Ghoul✨️. But the contrarian in me gets suspicious whenever a show/movie/game etc seems to REALLY want you to like a character AND (crucially) think they're cool

<--- poorly suppressing the urge to complain about how she's holding the gun so far from her face she's clearly not even trying to aim correctly because that wouldn't be very girls girl of me 😔

Fallout season 1 was such a well-crafted blend of homages and new character stories....and then the first 15 min of s2 throws a dizzying number of beloved easter egg references to the games that honestly just comes off incoherent

had a stress dream where I was late for a super high level job interview. partly because there were swarms of bees dropping from the sky on me. I recovered from one of these smoothly in-dream universe and it wasn't the bees

ONGOING PROJECT; #ROTWIP A few years ago, I started writing a gothic horror novel. I wanted to explore the parasitic nature of colonialism through the POV of a Regency-era heiress of color (and see how far I could go with a Filipina-British protag).

moodboard for gothic horror WIP featuring nature & plant imagery, human anatomy, blood!, a vaguely Regency era non-couple, and a classic Apollo and Daphne sculpture (detail) image."You find truth in observation," she said in agreement, watching the syringe fill with a rich, azure color. She held it aloft, eyeing the measurement in the light from the window, then turned that same calculating stare on him.
"Tell me, have you ever seen a man's soul?"

reading any Calendar of State Papers from 300+ years ago is such a treat for people who love gossip about people they don't know (me). absolutely scathing commentary delivered in formal, polite tones with "your most humble servant" kinda obsequiousness peppered in there...immaculate 👌

"that one girl in high school" i knew IMMEDIATELY what this was gonna be because the memory of a girl in my history class decorating her poster on "💝✨️the r*** of Nanking ✨️💝" still makes me so angry to this day!!! (and of course she became a teacher.)

Screenshot of a tiktok captioned "That ONE girl during history class" over notebook paper with colorful marker doodles and a heading with more swirly lines that says "The Holocaust" Tiktok comment: She's a teacher or a nurse now

BG3 makes me so angry when it breaks its own rules...like wdym these guys get to use more than 1 Reaction per turn 🤨 when the ability text even specifies it takes 1 turn to recharge!!! 🤨🤨
