is beta app review taking a million years for anyone else right now
We've been hard at work on Bag Check's next big thing. We're in beta review today - hopefully something to share tomorrow!
GM Travelers! v1.2.1 is out with a small but important fix for an issue that caused to-do properties to disappear when editing a to-do. Go get it! 🐞😅
Bag Check, meet iPad! Bag Check version 1.2 is out now - including iPad support, two new Blueprints, and full localization in Spanish.
A new Bag Check v1.2 TestFlight it's on it's way out the door - iPad support, two new Blueprints, and full Spanish localization!
I asked on Elon's terrible app, but I'll ask here too for #indiedevs: how would you say you roughly manage your time between actually writing code and all the other stuff? Some weeks it feels 90%/10%, others 10%/90%.
@iosdevweekly.com Hey Dave! Not sure if this is intended but with the new publishing platform, there’s no longer full-text RSS.
The fine folks at @parakeet.co made our first alternate app icon that we put in the last Bag Check version. We absolutely love it - and we think showcasing the people/companies/tools you use to make your app successful is super important. But just look at this - the leather! the fold! The gold foil!
Apple devs who are using AI for localization: how are you making sure it's "right"? AI is probably a good start, but you want a native speaker to spot-check, right?
1.2b3 is arriving in Testflight now. We made a lot of tweaks, check it out (and let us know if you want an invite!)
Yippee! The first beta of Bag Check v1.2 featuring iPad support is now available. If you aren't already testing, reply for an invite!
Once again admiring the beautiful icons that @matthewskiles.com made for Bag Check. Each icon's color is one you can set for a trip and each is named with a destination that is (sometimes vaguely) represented by that color. Beautiful (and free for all to use!)
a very ipad-y testflight coming tomorrow, assuming beta review is approved 🤞
One half of Travel App Co is currently traveling abroad, and I have to say it is extremely gratifying to use Bag Check, something we made with our bare hands, to pack and prepare for this trip.
Today we're releasing Bag Check 1.1, featuring Blueprint Galleries! Browse pre-made, customizable Blueprints for everything from a business trip to a camping trip to a packing list for traveling with kids. Plus lots of little quality of life improvements and bug fixes. Go get it! 🎁
