The TrekRanks Podcast is a celebration of all the things we love about #StarTrek from @EnterpriseExtra. No wrong answers. No nitpicking. Just our favorite things about Trek, from #TOS to #SFA! (Also, I was on the show and fired the phasers! Crazy.)

My fondest memory of my mom, who supported me in everything I do, and who we lost today after 93 amazing years, was back in probably 1974 or 75 when she came into the front room & I was watching #StarTrek. And unfortunately it was "A Private Little War." And unfortunately it was the scene with...1/4

Me, my mom and Archer on a beautiful walk in June 2026.

#StarTrek Viewing Tally for July 2026. 📺 (Back on track a bit, with #SNW taking most of the focus, but also spread it around pretty good this month.) 📈 TOS - 3 TNG - 7 DS9 - 1 VGR - 0 ENT - 7 DSC - 2 PIC - 0 SNW - 23 SFA - 1 STX - 0 LDS - 1 PRO - 0 TAS - 0 Kelvin - 0 Films - 1 Total - 45

Book (on his ship, with his back to us) faces off with Burnham seen through his viewscreen on a shuttlecraft in the distance (surrounded by a swirling orange plasma storm) in the episode "Rubicon."A tricorder scans an alien console, with a hand (Data's) typing in the lower left corner. In the upper right corner is the grainy circular image of the Promellian captain on a small screen. From the episode "Booby Trap."Captain Boimler facepalms himself in "Fissure Quest." He hates the multiverse. Kirk and Spock discuss their options while ruminating over 3D chess in "The Sehlat Who At Its Tail."

#StarTrek Viewing Tally for June 2026.📺 (A little late with my update this month, which is pretty indicative of the busy month I had & my record low viewing numbers. Boo.) For once the pro/con discourse on the new #SNW has been fairly normal. Lots of people like it. (“Cool. Big horror fan.”) Lots of people don’t. (“Totally get that. Makes sense if you aren’t a horror fan.”) Still some folks who can’t deal with counter opinions. But mostly normal responses for once.

La’An surrounded by, uh, lots of walking dead Starfleet ghoulies in “The Griffin Incident.”

Great interview w/Chris Fisher, who was on set from Day One through S5 of #SNW as a supervising producer. So much insight into how the production team approached the show. (Amazing to learn he is a full-on 'Niner & his two key mentors in the business are Trek legends Marvin Rush & Merri Howard) #DS9

NEW — The latest WeeklyTrek podcast is here! This week, we chat with #StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds supervising producer Chris Fisher about directing the series, and the use of virtual production techniques in the final frontier. blog.trekcore.com/2026/07/week...

It is so rare to visit a website and have a clean, useful, easy to navigate experience without 20 adds popping up in your face. That is the key to making TrekCore such a useful resource for all #StarTrek fans and why it is absolutely worth donating a few darseks to keep it going! (If you are able.)

We've reached 72% of our fundraiser goal — if you haven't donated, please consider contributing to help keep TrekCore running ad-free into 2027. This is a volunteer project, and every dollar goes right to required costs for managing our #StarTrek content library. blog.trekcore.com/2026/07/trek...

Once again, the fans at Azteca completely disgraced themselves w/their repetitive homophobic chant during tonight’s game, despite efforts from the FMF & others in Mexico to get it out of the game. Worse, naive observers are celebrating those fans for their support & atmosphere in the stadium. 🚫😡🖖

From the animated Star Trek Short Treks "The Girl Who Made the Stars," young Michael Burnham sits on her bed at bed time (lower right) and her father prepares to tell her a story. She cuddles a stuff tardigrade (CUTE!) in her arms and on they are both glancing up at glowing lights at the top of the ceiling like a sphere of stars (on thr left side of the image). It's Vash. In "Captain's Holiday." She's the best. She's meeting Picard for the first time. She just kissed him as she holds him around the neck. Look at those eyes. Come on, people. She's the perfect woman for him!!! What are you even thinking?!?From "Stormy Weather" in Discovery's fourth season, it's the bridge of Discovery and the whole bridge crew is present and a bunch of shit is about start going down (as you can tell by the tilted camera angle in this early shot from the show). Burnham is in the captain's chair in the center of the image. It's the cold open from "Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy" in Voyager, and the Doctor has just finished his performance and used the hypospray he is displaying in his right hand to tag Tuvok in the butt. (Tuvok has just fallen out of the frame onto the floor.)

Been working some non-stop hours during the 2026 Parrises Squares Galactic Cup and tonight was in my hotel lobby at 11 p.m. waiting for a meeting when "Wherever You Will Go" from The Calling started playing and I got goosebumps thinking about what could have been. #IYKYK

48 teams sucks. 8 third-place teams advancing sucks. unpredictable kickoff times sucks. ticketing fiasco sucks. FIPSA sucks. But I'm still excited that "Parrises Squares Champion Standing" has started up again, and I will be following every Ion Mallet toss and ramp movement through the tournament!

The finest in Parrises Squares sporting attire, with from left to right, four officers decked out in tight blue leotards with black support piping everywhere. (Two of those officers are, of course, Tasha Yar, center, and just to her right, Worf.) Tasha carries a cylindrical grey case that says Enterprise NCC-1701 on it. To the right is Riker (beardless) with his normal shit-eating grin (compliment!) as he talks shop! The image is in the ship's corridor and from the TNG episode "11001001."Murf, head up, kicking some ass in Parrises Squares. He is in a super hero pose, with an Ion Mallet in his right hand, having just taken a shot on the goal in the background, which features three colored squares (red, yellow, blue). Think twice before you share w/me that bullshit thread going around trashing the work of the Okudas & Dave Rossi. F that. It's filled w/a bunch of BS opinions presented as facts, but don't be fooled. It's one guy's bad take that he has it right & the Okudas/Rossi had it wrong. I don't think so honey
