As someone who has tried so many notebook apps, I’m trying another one. This one is a self hosted Joplin server. I had fun setting it up on my NAS, and VPN into my home network to sync. As usual I will go ask out on it for a week, then I’ll forget about it. The idea was to store my DR Print notes

Hell yes! Started with 102g and baked it into potassium carbonate. Lith Part B done!
Don’t have potassium carbonate but do have Potassium Bicarb? Bung it in the oven for an hour or until it’s lost 31% of its weight. Then boom Potassium Carbonate. This is going to be my part B for my Lith developer.

So I started playing with making my own clone of HC110 (old formula). Couldn’t get DEA-SO2 so substituted for PEG300, TEA and Glycerol. Developing agents were HQ and Phenidone. Small amount of water for sodium sulfite and KBr to dissolve. Obviously not HC110, but 1:30 dilution seems to work!

This is a PSA. When making up Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda, NaOH) wear gloves. Chemical burns sting. This could have been a lot worse and I’m trained in the safe handling of chemicals. Don’t be me: Wear your PPE. On the fun side, making up some Ansco70 for Lith printing.
Man it’s been a busy week. I just checked my posts and I’ve become that guy that doesn’t engage properly on here and just posts blog post links. Apologies all. I’ll try to do better. But with work, kids and life in general it’s been a bit difficult.
