I wrote a script. Finished it. Sat on it for a month while the artist finished up some other projects. Been letting it stew, thinking about it. Now I want to start all over with it. Make it faster, tighter, better. And the artist said they're still finishing up something, so...I have some time.

I've been silent online lately because June and July had a lot of family vacations. I try to unplug during those events. Focus on what's most important: spending time with my family. How has your summer been so far?

ME: i need to finish this graphic novel. ALSO ME: you should start another graphic novel that's completely different and unrelated RIGHT NOW.

I've been putting off finishing my next GN, and I'm not sure why. It's been done for a while, but doing the back matter and design work is where I'm struggling right now. It's not "writers block," but it's something. 😞
