hi all sorry i haven’t been around or posted for a lil while, unfortunately my mum passed away at the beginning of the week and me and my family are trying to come to terms with her passing so im probably not going to be around until after the funeral
work has ceased in my current model as i have run out of isopropyl alcohol and the delivery company thats supposed to deliver it is messing around so no idea when i can restart
well that didn’t work as well as i wanted lolbut maybe if i put in some lines it may look better but that’s tomorrow’s problem
painting has begun but im trying to replicate the cover art more than the model picture

thankfully no power cuts today so i managed to print the entire body for this model and hopefully the temperature will be cool enough to print the base parts

cthulhu is finished but i gotta wait for the last clear coat to dry before i take pics
GRRRRRR half ways into a 6 hour print and the power goes out and my printer doesn’t have a power failure continue function 🤬🤬🤬🤬
hopefully if things are cooler tonight then i will be printing the last part to the cthulhu model and hopefully if things start to cool down during the next few days i will be starting my the ghost in the shell model and fingers crossed it won’t be too hot to paint

i seriously hate hot weather as it’s now seriously cutting into my hobby time lol i can’t paint as it’s too hot, i cant print cos it makes my room hotter and i can’t play the games i want cos my pc overheats 🤬
well i tried using a stepper motor butbi cant get the thing to turn without some kind of capacitor or a controller so sod it im keeping with just leds
a look back at how much i’ve improved over the years with two of my worst painted mini thrown in for reference
unfortunately my idea for the light house is kaput as i can’t slow the moter down enough and there’s no low rpm moters that will fit so it’s just going to have regular leds
