They aren't walking back their stance on NSFW, they're only walking back the restrictions on "implied" or "artistic" nudity/nsfw. Pornography is still outright banned, which means KS is still a no go for most NSFW projects.

Kickstarter has reverted their policy changes on Adult Content! They issued an apology, siting Stripe as the reason. The pressure we put on them worked. This is a step in the right direction. But the threat of Stripe remains. It’d be great to see KS end ties with them & process payments elsewhere.

I guess I should be glad I ran my Kickstarter when I did. There's really going to be no future for indie adult content if indie creators can't subsist off their labor.
I understand Nintendo fans want everything to be cartoon cereal mascot games but I'd like to point out from an artist's standpoint, that the new game's art style is adapting the style from the SNES game's artwork into a modern look and I personally think that's really cool!
