Last week we welcomed expert visitor Katie Horgan from the Wildlife Trusts’ Future Nature group for a fascinating moth survey at Trinity. With more than 2,500 moth species in the UK, moths are an important group of pollinators and a vital part of the wildlife food chain.

Today marks the opening of a groundbreaking new exhibition at Trinity College, celebrating all things that come in threes.

The Sakura Cherry Tree Project marks 150 years of friendship between Japan and the UK. Launched in 2017 following a joint agreement between Prime Ministers Shinzo Abe and Theresa May, the initiative celebrates this relationship through the planting of cherry blossom, Japan’s national flower.
