With my deep Clare-Mayo roots/grew up in Kildare profile surely I will see Kildare lift Sam in my lifetime! We’ve witnessed Clare end the famine in ‘95 and Mayo in ‘26! 98 years waiting in Kildare! Seeds of hope planted this week! #gaa 💚❤️💙💛🤍🤍

We laid my wonderful uncle to rest on Wednesday morning. Proudest Mayo man you could meet, domiciled in the Kingdom most of his life. If Mayo were playing in Croker, no text needed we all knew where to meet. Will be raising a glass in his memory tomorrow. #gaa #maigheo #allireland 💚❤️
