Toxic Avenger Comics #10 is out today by me and @deadredfred.bsky.social. It concludes our "Toxie Goes to Washington" storyline and features my return to tasteful editorial cartooning on the first page.
My six year old has been working hard on her book ‘The Dark Red Castle.’ and it’s amazing, ngl. She already seems to understand the importance of killing off the protagonist’s father on the first page.
I can’t remember what I have or have not posted on this feed anymore.
Finally got around to deleting my gumroad after someone, somehow accessed old links to zine pages that have not been active (or visible to me?) in five years. If anyone has suggestions on a decent webshop for zines and prints let me know! I’ll get around to shipping books again in 2027.

As a parent and an artist, nothing is more rewarding than watching my kids find joy from drawing and their excitement at seeing their own labored progress. It’s the best. Their little dreams realized. Their process; the point. Give me a 3 year old’s sloping stick person over Kojima AI slop any day.

As sad as I am to see this go (for now??!?!?!!), @mattbors.bsky.social and @tristanwright.bsky.social (and company) absolutely KILLED it. The end was such a big, fun blow-off that still felt important, and it extended the vital, relevant work of this kooky little title. Huzzah!
