I think my updated hc for Harumi’s heritage is that her father (Remu) is Japanese & her mother (Haira) is Moroccan-Korean I’m so happy we have sm to go off of for what her irl origin could be!! Ninjago usually only shows the ninja’s families so it feels so lucky to have hers too

I did think that Doc saying Thunderfang wouldn’t have reached the SDs was dumb & ruined his role… But tbh that’s more of a issue of the SDs’ morals than Thunderfang’s intelligence. They totally SHOULD’VE intervened (allowing him to trade souls for power) but were too selfish

+Since Harumi was shut down when she felt conflicted, the only way she could break free was w rage The devourer reveal/Garm being in danger made her mad enough to use the power “keeping her in line” against its source, but it’s rly sad that this was the only way she could escape

A Ninjago anime could be the coolest thing ever IF they ditch the yellow skin tones 😭 It’s fine on minifigs but s11 was criticized HEAVY for its anime-inspired characters having yellow skin It should also be like… common sense not to do that to an Asian-inspired character…
