Consider Culture is a very sober look at race in the U.S. and not in the way you might think. We need more black success. This man speaks from personal experience. The bigotry of low expectations needs to end. This country needs black excellence - it’s there for the taking.
CA friend bought an old house in MN and as a surprise, I’m unearthing a red brick patio for her. Guess what I got? A case of Poison Oak rash that’s driving me nuts. New patches and bumps are cropping up even 5 days post exposure, but I read that’s normal. I wanna scratch. This too shall pass.

The press/media sucked up too much space at the TC ‘No Kings’ rally. They were directly in front of and on the sides of the stage blocking the view. They flew in. Meanwhile, WE LIVE HERE. WE WENT THROUGH it. Why was Katie Phang 10 feet from Springsteen? The stage was set way back because of THEM.
Tim Miller interviewed VP Al Gore today. Gore is completely dorky, but I like him. So committed to the environment. He said Mike Pence told him he was inspired by his memory of seeing Gore certify GB2’s election. Doing the right thing for the country.

Senate republicans on the floor glossing over the fact that the bill doesn’t just require photo ID - it’s FAR more than that. It’s a proof of citizenship requiring a certified birth certificate and all name changes. My god. Even republicans would be turned away.

Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapping is heartbreaking. Lotta conspiracy theories out there, but I believe it’s one guy who knew a celeb’s mother lived in a relatively secluded area in a nice house. He likely didn’t count on heart conditions and meds. Can’t collect a ransom if the victim isn’t alive. Very sad.
