Here's a new one I created as a demonstration for The Broadmoor Galleries' "9th Annual Broadmoor Art Experience" a few weeks ago. The event is held at The Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs in July and includes artists from all over the country. "Just Chillin'," oil, 16"x12".

Okay, I was struck with an idea for a porn meme format. Hear me out, because I believe in this one. I call it "timeline preview"

A youtube-style video is pictured, titled "Meeting My New Neighbors!" in which three cartoony animal people wave to the camera. A bashful horse and excitable dog flank the video's host, a cheerful pink cat. Everything appears wholesome. In the second panel, a mouse cursor has drifted over the video's timeline, and a tiny video inlay pops up, previewing a single frame several minutes later in the same video. In this small frame on the simulated UI, all three characters are seen having wild, messy sex in someone's bedroom. There is no indication of what happens between then and now to result in the video taking such a dramatic and pornographic turn. While her new neighbors remain oblivious to this, the cat host appears to somehow be able to see this preview frame, despite it being part of the user interface. Now very distracted, she stares at it, and her imminent and inevitable future, with a blank, wide-eyed expression.

A big part of this I think is that when you hear a name for a condition and look it up you just get a list of symptoms & causes. Rarely do you find anecdotes from people who AREN'T barely functioning because of those conditions. This isn't a bad thing at all, but it can make some conditions- 1/4

I'm pretty lucky tbh most of the time I tell people all the shit I'm diagnosed with they seem to think my daily life is utter hell, But like honestly? most of the time I'm just vibing. like Ive had people with FIBRO ask if *I* was ok.

There's no downside to this plan. Every kid that goes to bed with a full belly is a win for me too. Every senior that's able to meet their protein needs is a win for me. They're putting the shops in poor neighborhoods, this pays for itself in the long run. NYC is learning not to be short sighted.
