Today is the third anniversary of October 8th, when Israel killed 713 Gazans in furious retaliation for the previous day's killing of 800 in Israel. It was also only the first day of an ongoing massacre of at least 50,000 people and the destruction of an entire people.

Putin hates democracy because he is threatened by it. That is why – along with destroying civil society and repressing political opposition – Russia meddles in the democratic space of others.
Zionism is a political belief with its own adherents and detractors holding differing and often contradictory opinions about what it means; in this it acts the same as Capitalism. It is bizarre that we have a discourse about hurting people's feelings because of a motion to encode and define the term
Remembering today those who died due to the plan by Hamas to breach the border and abduct military hostages which spiralled into a massacre when further armed actors joined in and started killing people in kibbutzim and at festivals. Also those who died as a result of helicopter gunfire on that day.

Reading the news, it would be easy to believe that the Green Party has adopted a policy to expel its Jewish members, prevent them from attending synagogue or at the very least scrutinise their activities outside the party. *None of that has happened* 🧵

I don’t understand why people think that Jewish people will be kicked out of the Green Party for attending Zionist synagogues when there has been no indication that Christians who attend a church which has differing values to the Green Party will be censured.
Not a Green Party member, but there needs to be careful language which makes it clear that the Einsteinian position of Israel as a place of Jewish culture and democracy but with no politicisation or discrimination on ethnic lines is welcomed. www.barakabooks.com/einstein-on-...

It's pretty clear any multi-state solution which depends on the agreement of the Israeli government will never happen, and that bad faith actors on both sides would never be happy with any agreed borders. A single state of liberal democracy with Arabs in the security services is the only solution.
In short, if your definition of Zionism is not the below, then you're fine, however you may need to find another way to articulate it as in official Green Party business this will be the common understanding of the term.
