- 70+ grandfather married 42 years, Barbershop Quartet baritone, Woodworker, played basketball until the knees went. Ski, play golf.

Did anyone notice that the US Ryder Cup golf team - no doubt "inspired" by Donal Trump - got thoroughly thrashed in the team games on Friday and Saturday? Once his influence waned (Sunday), they made a strong but unsuccessful comeback.

Reality wins. "It's not the fall that hurts you, it's the stop." At some point, MAGA people are going to realize that Peter Navarro is a fool, Pam Bondi is a criminal, Pete Hegseth is over his head and Donald Trump never cared about Americans.

Killings in Minnesota: looked "exactly like a SUV squad car" - hmmm, maybe it actually WAS a squad car and the "dressed like a police officer" was a police officer. Should anyone trust someone dressed like "ICE" without a warrant, with a face mask?

Disney made a movie "Prince and the Pauper" that was shown in 1962. Eddie Murphy's "Trading Places" is in a similar vein. Mammals are biologically wired to support fairness and disdain inequality (Google "mammals fairness"). But obviously not everyone lives their life with "fairness" as 1st priority

I've learned that as a white male, I am "privileged," which means that I have advantages in our US society that non-white, non-hetero males do not. That's too narrow. I was also raised in an intact family by college-educated parents. I grew tall and athletic. I'm reasonably smart. I married well.
