🎲✂️ Did you know, Dawn Chorus was born out of the 2025 Roll & Write contest on BGG. It's come a long way since then. The feedback and support I received during that competition was instrumental in getting 🐦 Dawn Chorus 🐦 to where it is today. I would recommend this competition to any designer. 🧩🧩

🎲✂️ One of the most addictive parts of being obsessed with designing board games is imagining a new game idea as it blossoms in your mind, and it plays perfectly. Before any playtesting confirms to you that the game actually sucks. I designed a logo for such a game, and it's a great game.
As part of the upcoming release of Dawn Chorus, there is the free Community Edition of the game that plays exactly the same as the full game, with a low ink design that is more accessible for everyone. The goal is to provide a neat little game that can be printed and played anywhere, by anyone ❤️🐦

🎲✂️ Well, the BGG 2025 Roll & Write Comp has wrapped up. It was a lot of fun and taking part helped me get over the line with Dawn Chorus's design. My best awards were 3rd place for best multiplayer game, and 4th place for best overall game. I'm absolutely chuffed with that!

My baby girl turned 1 yesterday 🥹 It has been a wonderful and extremely busy year. I am hoping to focus 2026 on myself just a lil bit. A sprinkling of exercise 🥋 and a dash of board game design ♟️ and it should be an absolute b@nger!
