Workers' rights in Latin America and the Caribbean are in sharp decline. Panama and Argentina now among the 10 worst countries for workers. At the OECD Ministerial Dialogue in Madrid, TUAC called on the OECD and LAC governments to do more to prioritise workers' rights in the Regional Programme. 1/2
OECD unemployment close to historic lows – but real wages still haven't recovered in a third of economies, and employer restrictions are holding back wage growth. Low unemployment means little if too many jobs are insecure, underpaid, or concentrated in a handful of places. 1/2
