In an effort to deescalate the surrounding crowd, the cop arresting him yelled that the Kansas man is being arrested for slashing tires. The crowd cheered in response to that and basically gave the man a standing ovation.
Before calling someone a “dirtbag,” the Senator should have had his facts straight. An apology is in order. Glad one of us knew the difference between the Atlanta Hawks and the Iowa Hawkeyes!
