Very cool new preprint from @aleyamarzuki.bsky.social : using app tracking, we show that drops in metacognition predict OCD symptom fluctuations - across tasks and self-reports! Check out this thread for all the details 👇🏼
🚨New pre-print out! 🍂 Using daily gamified smartphone 📱 tracking, we found that reductions in both self- and decision-making confidence precede when people are likely to report experiencing symptoms of OCD. www.researchsquare.com/article/rs-7...
#Neurowissenschaften #Forschung #Hirnforschung
Colors leave unique ‘maps’ in our brains, so consistent across people that Michael Bannert and Andreas Bartels (both MPI for Biological Cybernetics) could predict which color someone saw...just from fMRI data. 🌈🧠 Their findings point to deep evolutionary roots in how we perceive color.
