Fossil collector & self-taught paleontologist Mary Anning's discoveries revolutionized our understanding of prehistoric life. "The greatest fossilist the world ever knew," she made her finds in the Jurassic marine fossil beds along the cliffs of Lyme Regis (UK). Born #OTD in 1799. #WomenInSTEM

New #preprint! #PsyArXiv Tünnermann & Schubö (2024): Attention Guides Actions in Visual Foraging. We found that when collecting multiple "conjunction objects" searchers attend to only a part of the object. And this bias translates to the collecting actions! Find out more: osf.io/preprints/ps...
