State Surgeon General Dr. Evelyn Griffin and her staff met today with Dean Thomas LaVeist, David Hotchkiss, Arthur Mora, Emily Harville, and Rodney Anthony to discuss the ways WSPH has focused many of its efforts on the health of Louisianians, especially those in rural settings.

Last First Day of School! Aiming for a December graduation, our second-year accelerated MHA students celebrated their last first day of school this week. We can't wait to see what's next for this talented group of future healthcare leaders!

Congratulations to Dr. Nancy Mock, who was invited to be the keynote speaker at the International Conference on Environment and Climate Action. Mock's address, “Two Deltas, One Commons: Women’s Leadership and the Future We Build Together," highlighted the event in Chittagong. Bangladesh.
