The “omg you’re not letting the tale seduce you” people are so annoying to me. I WAS seduced by The Vampire Lestat. The book, by Anne Rice. It makes total sense that I’m not going to be seduced by something that makes total mockery out of my beloved, yes?
The book The Vampire Lestat is a gorgeous emotional philosophical Odyssey that is filled with memorable characters and intensely cinematic scenes that are haunting and beautiful and iconic, and has one of the most lovable central characters I have ever read about. It's a gift that it exists.

One awesome Devil’s Minion moment I love from the books is when Armand gets obsessed with video cameras & makes Daniel do awkward man on the street interviews with strangers and then films himself in death sleep during the day, which wigs Daniel out a little when he sees the tape. 🥰 #devilsminion
