this movie is so hopecore cuz like by the end of it Tokyo is fucked, the us is ready to nuke the place at any moment, and it's up in the air whether they really STOPPED Godzilla or not but they choose to look forward and work towards rebuilding because at the end of the day what else is there to do

Thinking about it while re-editing a vid, Riyu so peaked in s2. Like he actually had so much in this season compared to every other. Spinjitzu training, learning to fly, the death of his mother, helping solve that mystery, trying to get Kai and Bonzle out of Netherspace. Man s2 was so fantastic💖

As someone who has never really loved Jay, Dragons Rising has done absolute wonders for him, he & Zilvar were absolute highlights this part. Zilvar especially, like the way the writers lock in when it's time to handle a tiger character NEEDS to be studied.
