In our first year, 1993, our newsletter went to 400 people. By our 10th year it was going to more than 12,000. Then we switched to email newsletters. Sadly many on our address list never made it to our email lists. Now you can view the 1990s newsletters. Use AI and create 2026 versions!

I think one reason that prisons, and by extension the entire criminal justice system, are able to be as barbaric as they are is that prisons and prisoners are for the large part invisible. That's why I think PJP is so important for those inside as well as for humanity at large
