We report about something that has happened to us before, and most likely will again: we briefly confused the clouds for the Milky Way. In that very narrow time window, we were amazed at the clarity of its contours, our breath taken away. We then had to come back down to Earth.

It may be obvious that out of the Drova enemies/bosses I worked on the pixelart for, this one was closest to my heart. He's obviously a very good dog.

We report: this night sky is a little hazy, halfway between mist and a proper cloud cover. Either way, it is absorbing light, and keeping it; it has within itself the moon, the stars, and the city lights. The moon makes a valiant effort to show through even as it is about to set.

As much as I hope and fear that the recent AI bubble burst will be the final nail in the coffin for the U.S.A. (I live here so of course I’m afraid of the economy completely exploding), I’ve observed, with mounting dread, that nations this large don’t actually die all at once.
