What a decade it has been with the Bettie Page / Divine mural. After realizing it was the anniversary, I went back and found some of this fun footage over the years of working on it. If I was going to have a calling card for two thangs, I think this one might be the one.

10 years ago, I started work on what still stands as the biggest Two Thangs painting ever. Still so proud of that mural and all the work we've done around it. I get to hang out with the house owners next week and I'm super pumped about that. A decade of Bettie page / Divine is a great decade!

What I'm Listening to: Well, this new super group Gatta Morta has my attention for sure. Big Business, Melvins, Butthole Surfers & Mr. Phylzzz and it sounds like all of them at once. What a strong start and the only reason it's only in my wishlist is because I want to wait to grab the full album.

The Circle Kirk. I did this painting for a show at KEXP that was all artists painting on vinyl. Some really rad art in that show and I wish there were more silly little group shows like that going on to take part in. Where this one ended up? I have no idea.

Throwback: This is a big painting I did in maybe 2001ish. Towards the end of my studio art degree, I got way into paintings as installations. If there was any way to make them feasible for consumption, I'd still be messing with those ideas but turn out, no one wants a floor painting to trip over.

Almost forgot about this one, the very first Two Thangs painting featuring Andre the Giant and Ol Dirty Bastard. I've only been able to sneak in one Andre after this in a Princess Bride painting. Someday he will return!

Talkin bout RASSLIN? Yeah, I've painted some rasslin in my day. This was another early painting featuring WWF and Strawberry Shortcake in the survivor series team that never was but should have been.

Another rasslin classic! It's Kenny Omega / Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. With all the rumors of upcoming retirements of the elite, appreciate it while you've got it!

Another Dolly! This couple commissioned the Beyonce / Dolly painting that became a reality years later with the release of Beyonce's country album. Dolly is up on the list of most requested Thangs because everyone loved her. RIP queen of country.
