On this sad day, a day when democracy slowly slips away, I find it even more sad that Cecile Richards has passed. As a Texan, I always loved her mother and what she stood for, and have followed Cecile’s career as a fighter for what is right and just. Her passing adds to the sadness of the day.

H a conversation with my 82 year old Trump voting mom. She was lamenting the cost of meds and how she would pay for them. I told her the situation would likely get worse once this regime slashed Medicare and SS. She had no idea those things were even being considered. I tried warning her.
