If you fancy a giggle (& some trees) today... enjoy this video🌲 Best demo I've played all year, an infuriating & hilarious masterpiece. I raged at it for an hour & loved every second. The best & worst (complimentary!!) 10/10 would spend hours joyfully cursing it again. youtu.be/SARM1i05i60

Trees Hate You just reached 300,000 wishlists. It still feels so strange to be able to mention the dumb little joke game that I'm working on to a random stranger and have a chance that they've already heard of it.

People keep asking me about it, so to clear things up: *None* of 10(?) apps on the Play Store with the Trees Hate You title and an AI-corrupted variation of the cover art were put there by me, even the one with >100k downloads. The *only* places I've published the demo so far are Itch and Steam.

Trees Hate You now has 20k outstanding Steam wishlists after less than 2 months, which feels surreal because I haven't even promoted it much yet besides sharing an occasional funny clip. Thanks everyone who encouraged me to pivot and focus on the mean tree game idea #gamedev #indiegame #steamgame

I'm working on an effect where roots/vines will grow and trip you or something. I'm probably not going to cover an entire level like this, but I had to try it out. #gamedev
