I think Kena is a very approachable souls-lite style game, with difficulty settings. The graphics are very nice, the combat is smooth but does not make perfect/demanding timing mandatory (so far), yet landing parries feels NICE. I love how much space the story and environment have to breathe.

Abandoned game #1 of 2026: Beast of Reincarnation. I wanted to have fun. I love Koo. I loved the opening. I thought maybe Game Freak had cooked. They didn't, when you look at the technical weirdness, copied homework, and things we shouldn't be seeing from a AAA dev in 2026. I'll do a breakdown ⬇️

Happy Monday bluesky! Let's start the week strong! I'll also be streaming Beast of Reincarnation tonight. Very curious to see how Game Freak did on this one. (No spoilers, please, if the reviews are saying it's great or trash, I want to be surprised)

#promosky Hi I'm Sam. I have cerebral palsy and play games by tapping buttons with my mouth. I Love to post what I'm currently playing & Boss fights. Huge fan of Soulsborne Rpgs-Jrpgs Stealth Simulator And Adventure games. 🩵 & 🔄 appreciated.

StreamElements joining Razer is the kind of thing I was worried about. It could be good if you like Razer and don't mind what they do with your data, and will probably add value and revenue to the service. But I already jumped ship and have been happier on open source, locally hosted overlays.

I'm seeing hype for Splatoon Raiders, but I haven't touched the franchise since the OG on Wii U. Should I like, try the single player version?

The highlight of my Tuesday morning so far is getting a new mouse for my work computer. The old one was PS/2 compatible and felt like 400 dpi or lower. It's the little things

Evercold's changes to Final Fantasy XIV can't get here soon enough, I will celebrate not feeling forced to finish weeklies on Monday evenings. Not fully up on Berlin fanfest updates but what I've seen only adds to the hype

Me, scheduling for a task that needs a team: "I think we can do this in an hour, with everyone." Each of my coworkers that was part of the team, less than an hour before it starts: "hey so I'm going to be 30 minutes late to this. Is that okay?"

Also happy Monday bsky, I'm trying to post here again as I have time. Remember to hydrate to survive the heat! If you're working in hot places (in or out of doors) remember to replenish your electrolytes.

Game #17 is special. There is a concept of argument known as "reductio ad absurdum." That is, reducing to the absurd. This is a form of the slippery slope, where you take an argument to its utmost ridiculous logical conclusion. That is Disco Elysium. WARNING. SPOILERS BELOW ⤵️

GAME #16 of 2026: Cat Isle. Really simple, really chill, really short management type game. Sometimes games don't have to be anything more than they are to be enjoyed.

Just putting it out there if folks haven't heard of Denshattack!, you should check it out. Very clean vibes, amazing soundtrack. (I can't move my hands right to play it well myself, so I haven't yet, but watching folks play it has been awesome!)

With all the bad news in gaming I think it's important to keep in mind the good news: people who play games aren't going anywhere. And we'll always be sharing discs and carts, building our own machines, and finding new and creative ways to continue our hobby.
