Working at a grocery company I learn a bunch of interesting stuff, and today I learned that the active ingredient in GLP-1s costs between 75¢-$4.73 to produce a months supply. Pharmacy’s actually lose money filling that prescription at approx $115 each. And the manufacturers are making billions.

I saw 6 different gay men I know repost this being excited… despite his announcement including a call for MORE COPS, him concurrently running for 2 offices, his family’s bank’s ties to the mob, etc etc…

Stopped to charge and planned the stop at a charger in the parking lot for a pizza place I like. Plugged in and it said it would only take 11 minutes. So it’ll be ready long before we are!

Chicago would have a lot harder time getting $$ for new busses than NYC had, but dedicated bus lanes on major corridor streets is absolutely attainable and should be demanded of any Mayoral candidate that claims to be transit friendly.
