Finally justified in keeping this thing around as I wait for assorted parts to arrive for the (relatively) modern cross bike.
The proprietary post was creaking, so I pulled it, put some carbon paste on, then reinserted…but the internal wedge started falling in, so I flipped bike but the post fell, and then the cord for the Di2 battery detached, but not at the post, in the frame behind the press in BB. Modern bikes. Man.
Why do so many bearings use this font where the 5 and 6 look so similar?
