Sometimes, I’ll delete something because of a typo and go to repost it and think, “this is not important enough to say twice,” and then it’s gone forever.
Once you release yourself from that weird feeling you get when being identified as “wrong” … your life gets easier. Players fuck up. All you can really do is own up to it, acknowledge it and make amends (if one is required) You ain’t gotta carry that shit forever.

A huge factor. In times of uncertainty, people usually look for answers. Religion is also simple: follow these rules & you’ll be fine. Simplicity also makes people comfortable & gives the illusion of certainty.

Also, if you want to be a better person in any way, you can just decide to do that and do it. You don’t need anyone’s approval. You don’t need anyone’s permission. People’s opinions belong to them. Be better for the sake of it. Be better because you want to.
Agreeing with people when they just want to berate you and yell is so funny because you really just take all the fun away. 🤣
I had to be so honest with myself about this and decided to commit to being a responsive and reliable friend. Things have really changed for me this year. It has been so worth it.
