Just imagining me stuck in GTA 6 watching an AI trained on speed running videos, clip into a wall, shoot an invisible NPC, then fly 2000 ft into the air before handing back over the controls to me like, "fixed it for ya!"
Aura/Moom@moomanibe.bsky.social · 7mo agoI decided to read the full patent and this is substantially funnier than I expected - they want to generate the AI "helper" from footage of other people playing the game, including, they specifically note, footage scraped from social media and youtube bc everyone on socials/youtube is an expert
This is because they stopped the policy of showing new employees after 18 months the one developer they have chained to a desk and beaten every day within an inch of his life. Too many employees walked away.

Just imagining the insane levels of hoops you'd have to jump through to get to this point rather than just be cool with autism. Like writing an entire book on how the earth is the center of the universe just to blame Tylenol on why your kid is allergic to bees.

can't wait to play civ 7 like i play all the other civ games: exclusively play vanilla because expansion packs seem weird, play exactly the same style with the same civ for 1000 hours over the next decade, mostly ignore entire key game mechanics, and consequently never actually get very good at it

Ticketmaster is an absolute joke. Never once had a good experience. Every single time I've used it my first try will result in an error and will boot me back to the queue.
With the amount of European content creators I watch and fall asleep to on YouTube, I fear I'm giving them power to make me sleep on command. They can use this to remove my processed foods and replace my tape measure with metric ones. This cannot continue, @legenvd.bsky.social can't have this power
