I'm putting together an interview vlog to ask artists about the creative process, their experiences in marketing themselves, emotional toll, tools of the trade (good v bad), things they wish you knew, rituals, influences, education, the anatomy of a portfolio, the job hunt, etc. Would you watch it?

Illustration: Sunrise Dragon (fantasy illustration)

Digital artwork of a dragon's neck and head. Its scales are primarily colored a light sky blue, and its spikes and horns are gold. Many of its scales also have bright magenta regions. Its eyes are a shiny black.

Its long neck its twisted in a snake-like position, with its head facing left. Its teeth are visible on the outside of its lips, much like crocodile teeth, and its snout is tipped in a bone-like beak structure. Two of its top teeth are especially long and tusk-like, curving outwards from either side of the head. The dragon has 3 pairs of horns, the longest and thickest of which is the highest pair on the back of the head. A thick but short spike, similar in appearance to the horns, is located on the side of the head, near the back of the jaw.

3 rows of spines extend down the creature's neck, and each spine is gold in color, with a magenta base. The center row of spines is significantly taller than the others, and each spine of this row is lobed in the center. Each lobe is patterned with white and purple spots.

The dragon's environment is a cloud scene at sunrise. It consists of pastel pinks and pale purples. Some sky blue is also visible at the top of the illustration, and in the rightmost top corner the sky fades to navy blue. In front of the dragon, some pink clouds form a circular shape that frames the creature's face.

Creature Concept: Northern Dragon

A white dragon sits up on a snowy tundra plain. Black rocks litter the ground, and grey clouds cover the skies, which are grey with blizzard clouds. Beneath the dragon's front claw is a human skull.

The dragon has folded pterodactyl-like wings with hairy claws for fingers. Its back legs are also fluffy, and look much like the talons of a snowy owl. 3 horns grow from the dragon's head; 2 short ones from the back, and 1 longer, forked one from the center. The tail ends in a triangular barb made from the same material as the horns, and sensory bristles stick out from the length of the tail like whiskers. Similar whiskers, only shorter, are found on the cheeks and the tips of the ears.

Illustration: Stormfront (Sci-fi Art)

Illustration of a pale orange stone desert, with mountains in the background. Behind the mountains looms a churning, deep blue stormfront, which is split by a single bolt of lightning that reaches to a nearby floating island, and from there to the nearest peak. Dust blows violently across the landscape in front of the storm, and in the foreground, two dragonfly-like mechs perch on some eroded rock formations. They have scrap solar panels for wings, and twin cockpits for eyes.

Two characters stand on top of the nearest mech; one sitting upon the wing rotator joint, and the other looking towards the storm through a pair of binoculars. In the further mech, the pilots remain in the eyeball cockpits. One appears to be viewing a holographic display within the glass, and the other is looking over his shoulder, eyes shaded, at the storm.

A barren wasteland, blue sky and clouds in the back. in the foreground huge cypresslike trees stand columnlike in a low stone enclosure, concealing a red door in their midst. Infront stone rubble, ammonite and an amphora. ochres and greens dominate the painting

A dreamlike Landscape filled with dramatic nebulas, clouds and standing stones

A procession arriving at an invisble gate between two obsidian pillars, storns and watching crows around. Done in Krita

An air ship in the right hand corner flys through an abyss, everything is moist and tinged in blue light, water drips from slides and drainage that might be some small part of a huge machine. Who build this and who would fly through it? Are they not awake?

“Stairs to the Sky”, an 18”x24” oil painting of a windy, winter landscape, inspired by Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. A frosty blue sky looking over cloudy, windswept mountains, while old rock stairs, buried in snow, lead upward to the summit. A stone cairn with a billowing, ragged cloth marks the path.

Watercolor painting - a field after the rain. Part of the field is wet and mushy. A goat girl and a bunny girl are standing in front of you. They are holding cake and present, smiling at you. In the background there's a small old church. Bloody red light is glowing from within. Behind the church on the horizon, a very tall, misty monster is looking at your direction.

Watercolor painting - a woman's skeleton remains. Her face still looks beautiful, but everything else is just bones. Red spider lilies are blooming from within her

Watercolor painting - a case of humanoid white roses. They all have human heads and look sad

Watercolor painting - a crow outside of a cathedral arc window. It's a moonlit snow field outside. The glass panel in front of the crow is cracked, perhaps from its constant pecking

Pen drawing of a cluster of beings, from the torso up that have the appearance of skin stretched tight over and under boney ribs leading up into elongated skulls that only have open mouths for features, with hooks in the four corners of them looping around to the back of their head. At the base of these torsos is an eye positioned over a mouth with a long tongue hanging out of it. The entire mass becoming a twisted set of organic and cancerous shapes that spreads out. To They are flanked by large arcs of tusk, carved with sigils and patters with a pyramid shape rising in the distance with each layer made up of shapes resembling screaming faces with voids where their eyes and mouths are. In the middle is a faint planet showing a large scar like canyon through the haze. On the side opposite the pyramid is an arch above set of bones that look like a large column below a circular window and flanked by mottled skin. Behind the arch is a titan scale skull flanked by three spikes where it's right shoulder would be, that has multiple black void circular eyes and a head that flares out into branches tightly woven branches, with a long haired head hanging off one.

Pen drawing of a crouched humanoid figure scratching their chin with one hand while examining a blue, glowing orb in front of it. It's eyes are solid black and the skull slightly elongated with tubes emerging from along its sides up and into a the biomechanical mass that it is perching on. Embedded in the mass of bioforms are faces with extra eyes also examining the orb while several creatures cling to the structure of lounge on it. There is a gap that shows a city off on the horizon, framed by additional growths opposite to the figure. The sky is hazy and a purple star hangs low in the sky near the edge of the 'cliff' the being is on, while additional blue orbs float in the distance.

Pen drawing centered on a face with large, solid white eyes made up of biomechanical forms that twist like an elongated neck up from the waves of the ocean like surface it is emerging from. Faint gills and the effect of the forms being somewhere between tentacles and seaweed flare out as a sun with a blue corona acts as a halo around the head while in the distance multiple organic and aquatic looking large starships hang in the sky while a city with a snail shell like look emerges from a rocky outcropping nearby. A smaller blue sun hangs in the white sky peppered with grey clouds.

Pen drawing of a landscape in silhouette, rising out of water with a large, pinkish-red sun dominating the horizon. On this landscape there are towers with a white light shining at the top with torii like gates nearby at a scale of multi-story buildings. There is vegetation around them and the scene flows to the left with several humanoid figures dwarfed by a large, multi-eyed and tentacled Eldrich being looking down at them.

Congrats on 700 followers, and thanks for hosting the #artshare! 🖤 I create fantasy & sci-fi illustration, all digital. Lots of it involves dragons, and most of it is creature concept art. 🐉

Creature Concept: Southern Quilled Seraph (fictional avianoid)

Digitally drawn concept art of a bird-like monster design. The creature faces right on a dark plane. It is sitting with its wings partially folded, but still somewhat slack. Its long tail twists upwards behind it.

Its beak and two-toed feet are yellow in color, and its eyes are bright green. Most of the feathers on its body are a warm grey shade, with a broad red stripe down its back and tail. Additionally, there is a large patch of red in the center of itis chest. Its wing feathers, as well as some scattered feathers across its body, are a shiny iridescent black. It has a bright red wattle on the underside of its head, which is patterned with black markings.

Porcupine-like quills sprout from beneath the feathers on the monster's back, as well as the backs of its wings. Along its twisted tail there are 3 more (shorter) wing-like appendages. The head has two pairs of eyes; one is large, and located on the side of the head, and the other is small, and faces forwards from a hole on the from side of the beak.

The beak is toothed, like a goose's beak, as is the animal's tongue. The beak also has a large Smilodon-like fang growth on each side. On the bottom half of the beak, a patterned crest sprouts and curves backwards between the fangs. Above the front pair of eyes on the beak, there are hornbill-like growths that shade the eyes.

Creature Concept: Baldhart the Black Flame (fire dragon)

Digital artwork of a black dragon with a dull red head, neck, and chest, facing left. It stands on a bluish mirror-like surface that is lit up with streaks of blue light.

Its wings are a purplish tag color, and huge compared with the rest of its body. Its tail is also elongate, and is patterned with rows of spiky barbs that can also be found on its neck.

3 pairs of horns grow from its head, two on the top, and one that curves around like a tusk on the back of its jaw. A short beard of black fur grows from the bottom of its head, longest under the tip of the chin.
