Rabbit escape jar - 10/2025 . . . Thrown and altered in Maine, bisqued then shipped back home to Virginia to glaze fire. Each rabbit was individually sculpted and took way longer than I expected. One of my favorite pieces I’ve made recently. #pottery #pottersofbsky #ceramics
“Cardboard” pitcher and cups - 9/2025 . . . I had a lot of fun working with the Laguna 80 and 40 clays and trying to make ceramic “cardboard” pieces. They’re not very functional to be honest, but I like how they look. #pottery #cardboard #pottersofbsky
Hummingbird jar - 9/2025 . . . Finally fired this piece, the lid was stuck and I had tried all the usual methods to separate it. I broke one of the wings in my initial attempts. I finally got it loose by using a needle tool and very carefully chiseling it free from the body. #pottery #hummingbird
Goose incense holder 8/2025 (WIP) - . . . I saw an antique Chinese goose shaped incense holder online and I wanted to make my own version out of clay. The body is a bottle form which I laid on its side and altered. I sliced about 1/3 of the way through and hand built a gallery inside. #pottery
