I saw @robauton.bsky.social in a preview of his new show Jupiter today. Proper funny and a thing of real beauty, it's a love story to wonder and seeing things as others see them.

Forever fascinated by how things work and spending most of my days working on Soundscape https://scottish-tech-army.github.io/Soundscape-Android/. Music, family and geography with some clothes making thrown in.
Opatija had been gearing up for the big match all day - I'm being very proactively Scottish, though the barman was questioning my choice of white wine.
I'm very pleased to say that Soundscape on Android launched today. We had a great chat with Double Tap about it which you can watch here youtu.be/VtC-BJOlCNA From a tech point of view @protomaps.com is absolutely key and nothing would be possible without @openstreetmap.bsky.social data.

The prophecy in Macbeth suggests that Stirling and Strathallan will be the seat of the next Labour leader. Starmer shall not be vanquished until Burnham would come to Dunsinane.
About 20 years ago I wrote a quick clock widget for our new BrightSign digital signage players. Mostly I worked on video and audio software, but having a clock was better than not having a clock. Most users moved on to HTML clocks, but everyone working on Match of the Day still watches it weekly!
Very proud of my friend @naomialderman.bsky.social who has followed the release of a brilliant and timely book with this brilliant and culturally very significant move observer.co.uk/the-critics/...

I've just spent a great couple of days at the OSM State of the Map Europe conference in sunny Dundee #sotmeu2025. It was my first SOTM and was so very, very good. Brilliantly well run with lots of fun extras which all amplified the feeling of community. So much generosity on display.

I'd like to give a big thanks to @protomaps.com for their fantastic work. Our open source Android port of Soundscape, the navigation and exploration app for visually impaired uses a protomaps server and it's reduced the cost to the supporting charities by a huge amount. github.com/Scottish-Tec...
