I have been honored to be invited as a guest at dozens of conventions, but I never thought that I would be asked to attend a convention in Ukraine, a country that is actively at war with its neighbor....

A year ago I allowed myself to get bullied off of social media. I spent the last 5 days in Kyiv, in Ukraine, where I met the bravest, most defiant and resilient people. It made me feel deeply ashamed to have given in to the internet bullies. I am not going to let it happen again. #slavaukraini

I want to make one thing clear. An unwelcome person snuck into our fursuit parade. I was standing by the escalators and saw every single suit that went by, and I did not see him. I still don't know how he got by me, but if I had spotted him, I would have said, "Hold it. You...come here."

You do realize, I hope, that if someone shows up at an event with the specific intent of causing an uproar in order to get attention, screaming about it is only giving them the attention that they seek and will encourage them to try it again.

I have been told I have to promote this by the tiny voice that screams at me “You need to get booked at some point” so be advised this is where I plan to do anything blue this year, because technically if it happens off site did it really happen? Hope you’ll come by.
