The logos of a range of universities offering archaeology and archaeology-adjacent degrees who couldnt't be there at University Archaeology Day in person this year. These include: Aberdeen, Bangor, Queens Belfast, Birmingham, Chester, Cranfield, University of East Anglia, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Kent, King's College London, Lincoln Bishop University, Liverpool, Newcastle, Royal Holloway, St Andrews, Swansea, Trinity Saint David, Truro and Penwith, Warwick and Winchester.

Last but not least, we're very grateful to one of the co-founders of @clarkshaw. makers of excellent socially-conscious vegan beer for joining the #UAD25 careers panel 1-2pm. Did you know you could jump from an archaeology degree into all kinds of things?! Well you certainly will after tomorrow!

Finally, the moment you've all been waiting for - our panel sessions for University Archaeology Day #UAD25! Our expert panels will be answering questions from YOU in the audience @britishacademy.bsky.social or at home - come along to ask everything you've ever wanted to ask about archaeology!

The first panel at 11am is 'into the field, excavation and fieldwork' with representatives from Exeter, Bradford, Birkbeck, Cambridge and Bournemouth. The second panel at 12pm is 'beyond the field, specialist analysis and interpreation, in the lab with bones, plant remains, objects and everything else', with representatives from Nottingham, Leicester, York, Edinburgh and Southampton. At 1pm there is a careers session featuring representatives from the Council for British Archaeology, the Museom of London, the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists, Historic England and more (to be confirmed). Session 4 at 2pm is 'what use is archaeology anyway? Archaeology and global 21st century challenges', with reps from Bristol, Durham, Canterbury, UCL and the University of the Highlands and Islands; the final session at 3pm is 'who does the past belong to? Archaeology and heritage', including the universities of Manchester, Reading, Sheffield, Cardiff/Caerdydd and Central Lancashire.
