Just a quick reality check here: Eight months ago the U.S. easily could have supplied Ukraine with sufficient defense. Comrade Trump needed an excuse to stop the flow of defensive weapons to Ukraine, or his master Putin would be angry. The Iraq war was the perfect excuse to burn the Patriots.

Will the US retreat from the Middle East be deftly handled or will it turn into a strategic rout? It is the US which is running short of vital equipment, the US which has bases it might never rebuild. For example Iran shot 18 missles at Jordan and the US had to expend 60 Patriot interceptors.

The unwillingness of Democrats to use the term "fascist" for a president who is continually emulating fascist leaders of the past illustrates why the Democrats are consistent unable to win nationally. They haven't got the conviction and belief in our democratic system to punch back.

Fascism is all about fear, and I can't possibly feel sorry for Ed Sheeran. But his fear of the fascist billionaires bank rolling Israel is very real. Lots of other artists have had their careers ruined or damaged by exercising the First Amendment rights. To win back our democracy don't be afraid.
