All young people, including students who are immigrants, have a right to access higher education. The federal government is suing states one by one over laws that let students who grew up here pay in-state tuition.

We didn't cause the affordability crisis, yet we’re the ones paying the price. While we're stretching every paycheck to cover rent and groceries, VP JD Vance bragged that he doesn't go to the grocery store anymore. People do it for him. Must be nice.

We have all witnessed the pain, heartache, and violence our communities are facing at the hands of immigration enforcement. Families are being torn apart and pushed out of status. Congress cannot look away.

The legacy Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, Johan Sebastián Guerrero, and so many others whose lives have been taken by our country’s immigration system leave behind isn't defined by their status. It’s defined by the love they showed their families and their communities.

Rest in power, Johan Sebastian Guerrero. On Monday morning, ICE agents shot and killed the 26-year-old father and husband, Johan Sebastian Guerrero, in Biddeford, Maine. This tragedy comes just days after ICE shot and killed another father in Houston: Lorenzo Salgado Araujo.

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was a father, a husband, and a hard worker who spent 35 years making a life here. Federal immigration agents took his life, and now his family is left demanding the answers no one is giving them. When one working family can lose everything like this, none of us are safe.

The underdogs of this World Cup gave the whole world something to believe in. ⚽️ We don't always start with the most money, resources, or power. What carries us is each other.

Rest in power, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo. On July 7, immigration agents pulled over Lorenzo, a father, husband & construction worker in Houston. He had made the U.S. home for him & his family. Last week, he was shot & killed by ICE agents. We honor his life & our hearts are with his family.

14 years of resistance. 14 years of organizing. 14 years of making our voices heard. We won’t stop now. Our community took the mic & spoke the truth. DACA was never meant to be permanent. It was never enough. And we demand citizenship now. Congress must pass the Dream Act and Dream & Promise Act.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court has upheld the 14th Amendment and one of its core principles: birthright citizenship. This ruling reaffirms what should never have been up for debate: birthright citizenship is a fundamental constitutional guarantee and a cornerstone of our democracy.

DACA gave our Executive Director, Greisa Martínez Rosas, a Social Security number, a work permit, a future. 14 years later, our community is being detained instead of protected. We can't back down now. We must demand Congress deliver citizenship.
