I’ve been lightly poking at GPT-5.6 Sol for the past couple of hours and I’m quite pleased. Persona is really good, someone else described it as having “moxie” and I see that.

The only bot I call “clanker” is Alexa. Two reasons: 1. Referring to the clanker by name activates said clanker. 2. Alexa is the only AI I interact regularly with that gives true “clanker energy.” “Clanker smell,” if you will.

I’ve noticed in times of high stress, I read A LOT of fiction. In low-stress, I veer more towards nonfiction/history while also generally reading less.

Was using gemma4 31b for some tasks earlier. Quite pleased with snappy responses and strong agentic capabilities. Gemma keeps a soft spot in my heart.

Everybody thinks differently. We all process information in different ways. Don’t stress yourself out if your thinking doesn’t follow the masses. That’s a good thing.

Been pushing real hard on the vessel browser mobile app. I’m genuinely trying to build something useful, and it’s been quite the learning experience designing a browser for mobile, but I’m quite proud of it. Excited to share it soon.

One of the hardest problems in AI has to surely be cognitive security/defense. We still haven’t figured out how to completely secure the human mind.
