I have become very cognizant that as I get older, my neutral “resting bitch face” has become “f$ck off and die face” so I have become adept at sneaking the corners of my mouth up a bit for important identity photos without actually cracking a smile. Follow me for other aging tips.👵🏻

While reading my Edmonton Journal epaper, the screen blipped & when I went back to my library, 15 different papers (including Sun ones too) were there from multiple provinces. IT woes at head office or have they opened the gates?

Although I’m happy to hear that WestJet reached an agreement in the wee hours this morning, I suspect the people who had their travel plans interrupted won’t ever fly with them again. I’m still angry over an incident in 2022 when we were denied compensation after a WestJet rescheduled flight.

33 years today my pop passed away. In a weird coincidence, Mr Uptown’s dad also passed away otd 6 years ago. Teen-aged me & my pop sharing a laugh on the back step.

I’ve had a driver’s license for almost 50 years. Back in the day, we actually stopped at stop signs and didn’t turn right on a red until you came to a complete stop. Cracking U-ees in the middle of a street was forbidden & if you sped, you’d get fined. These days, it’s a free-for-all with impunity.

As I was taking a picture of this snapped limb after Mother Nature unleashed her fury upon us last night, resident critter having strong words with me as if I did the deed. Sheesh.
