I am not interested in an interracial relationship, not because I don't find nonBlack people attractive (they are) but because I don't want to have to be subjected to (un)intentional racism, antiBlackness and microagressions in a relationship that should be my safe space.

A friendship IS a relationship.

I still be trying. If it gets to a point in which it seems like it’s going nowhere, I just stop responding. I’m sure some people don’t like that, but they’ll survive.

I like constructive conversations! A lot of conversations are not constructive online and actually serve to be destructive especially if the one speaking is doing so not out of kindness, concern, or care. So I stick to having these convos irl or w/ small groups. We shouldn't stop discussing tho.

You know what I hate? When people say, “eww, this is nasty—taste this.” Or, “this smells terrible—smell this.” Every time, I say, “No thanks. I trust your opinion.” I’m not joining you in your misery 😂

The way I’ll be staring helplessly at my phone battery as it goes down, thinking, “Aww man, it might die soon,” as I’m sitting right next to my charger is a study worth pursuing.

this isn't very popular to say, but for me personally, it was good that i had unrestricted internet access when i was a minor. i was aware of what i was doing and enjoyed it. i don't look back on it and go "well that was a mistake", i look back on it and wish i could do it for the first time again
