rhani's mother runs a VERY tight ship and I think a lot of what I want accomplished by her character and who she chooses to involve can be done instead by way of shonna's other sisters, who have more of a motive to dislike their shared nunh'i from the outset
I think I could tighten shonna's family's lore a lot by axing some characters I think. not any of the core cast but mainly rhani's sisters. they feel kind of directionless rn. his half-brother can stay but that's only bc he's v'mah's father

#shonnaaotd on the surface, she is. get to know him a little better and you'll find he's very blunt, rigid, and stubborn. it can get kind of grating sometimes—this gets on thancred's, y'shtola's, and the twins' nerves in particular LMAO. and her sister, shaia, huge pain point for her.
