Instead of cleaning out the playroom this Fall, just rake the mess into a corner. This is better for the environment and promotes the incubation of next year's children.

Smashing that Like button, not because I'm enthusiastic, but because I'm in my 40s and have too many calluses for this touchscreen.

Whenever I'm lazy and use a Boolean to represent 2 states, it guarantees that I will someday have to rewrite the code to support more states. Latest occurrence was this morning, on code that had only needed 2 states for 8 years.

Sitting in a doctor's office waiting room and I've heard the TV say "pneumococcal" more in the last 5 minutes than in my entire lifetime.

Enjoying Pluribus, S1, seven episodes in. Like all Vince Gilligan shows, some of the scenes run self-indulgently long. However, the cinematography, framing, and camera work is always really visually satisfying.

Current mini game: Finding the perfect minute to depart in order to optimize my commute through the bus routes of two neighboring school districts.
