Illness should never become a financial negotiation. Every patient deserves timely, evidence-based care regardless of income, employment, or insurance status. Nearly every other high-income nation recognizes healthcare as a public responsibility. We can too. Medicare for All

When those in power remove qualified Black leadership while erasing Black history, don't call it patriotism. Call it what it is: the preservation of power. A nation afraid of its own history is preparing to repeat its crimes.
