it's crazy that out of all people, aiku was the one to establish barou's dream. barou already had a vague idea of his identity: to be the king, to win with my goals, to crush anyone who gets in my way... but it was aiku's words that resonated with him. and that settled his dream as the best striker

my favorite type of aibr is aiku who is shamelessly into barou and flirts with him any time he can and barou who wants him just as bad but hides it pretty well
aiku does this whenever he goes without seeing barou for a season. or a week. i don’t think aiku is a clingy friend but i think he’s clingy to barou because he loves the chase and barou is always difficult <33
