The amount of people twitchy and I had coming into the Megaplex daycare room, looking around, and literally going “this isn’t what I heard it was” was mind-blowing. A big portion of our lead duties this year was just giving an overview of what daycare was and (successfully) dispelling rumors.
in a perfect world I'd love antis who think we are monsters, to just hang out in a babyfur activity panel for an hour, color with crayons, and just see that the image in their heads they have of what we do at these things is not even close to what actually goes on, but sadly i know it can never be.
if you think there's good, pure, noble "age regression" and sinful, horrible "babyfur" and there's never any overlap and any enjoyment of little-coded stuff is inherently evil, idk what to tell you. being seized with guilt over liking harmless, cozy things re-inflicts trauma rather than heals it

it should be socially acceptable to use a paci out in public. there is no reason for it not to be. i would find it so much easier to cope in loud spaces if I had a paci to soothe myself. they're so so so so so so comforting to me! and they're also really pretty!
